My name is Abby Thompson and I am a British illustrator based in the south Coast of the UK. I specialise in storybook illustrations and I also love to create interactive illustrations such as pop-up and 3D. Themes used within my work are fantasy and folklore as well as cultures within my family life and raising awareness for environmental issues.

My love for books has given me countless ideas and possibilities as well as my love for nature and long walks with my dog.

I use a wide range of media including Gouche, Coloured pencils, digital illustration and paper cutting.

In the future, I hope to start my teaching degree but also on the side keep creating picture books and educational content for both younger and older children.
